The Prince of Wales public house is within easy walking distance of the Home. Prince of Wales Lane is on a regular bus route to the centre of Solihull and to Birmingham. Public transport timetables are available from reception.

The Prince of Wales Nursing Home is a small family-run nursing home and offers the perfect environment for relaxed and comfortable living. Set in small level gardens, the home offers nursing and residential care for up to 27 people. The building has accommodation for residents on two floors. A passenger lift ensures easy access to the first floor.

The Prince of Wales Nursing Home is a non-smoking home, but residents are welcome to smoke outside in designated areas if they so wish.

The home is owned by Edggbasston Investments. Very much a family company, husband-and-wife Directors Jagdish and Sunita Kumar have owned the Prince of Wales Nursing Home since 2007.

The Prince of Wales Nursing Home is registered and inspected by the Care Quality Commission under the provisions of the Health and Social Care Act 2008. The home is also a member of the Registered Nursing Homes Association (RNHA), an organisation that assists its members to maintain high standards of care.
